Pallet displays are perfect to add marketing and attractiveness to something as mundane as a pallet stacked with bottles of fizzy drinks, for example. They are often used for heavy merchandise, such as liquids, and are very fast and convenient for the store staff to remerchandise as they only have to wheel in a replacement pre-loaded pallet. The entire pre-loaded display can simply be wheeled into the retail outlet ready to go.

These displays come in all shapes and sizes, limited only by the available floor space, store guidelines and the imagination of the designers. The pallets themselves can be anything from a quarter or half the size of a normal pallet to full size ones for campaigns that can command that floor space in outlets. Even something as ugly and just plain functional as a pallet can be dressed up to avert the gaze upwards or completely concealed with a wraparound display shroud.

Quarter Pallet Displays

Bigger isn’t always better! These are very popular and versatile units that can fulfil different purposes to the half or full size pallets. The display unit that sits on the pallet can have shelves for different products or can simply be stacked with trays of product one on top of the other. Despite their smaller footprint, they are capable of outselling units such as dump bins with similar floor dimensions. Designers can use the height element to their advantage to display attractive graphics

They are also easily adaptable for cross-selling purposes by twinning with other quarter pallet displays for back to back/side by side combined display, or multiples side by side and back to back depending on the campaign and the available space. That makes them easily configurable to take advantage of whatever floor space each individual outlet makes available. It has the advantage of delivering excellent promotional capability in a relative small amount of floor space. Dimensions are typically 600 x 400 mm or 600x 500mm.

General Tips For Pallet Displays

Corners & Edges - When using pallet displays, it is important that the product does not overhang beyond the edges of the pallet so that nothing is damaged.

Maximum Height – Always check with the store guidelines for the maximum permitted height of both the cardboard display portion and of the stacked merchandise on the pallet. Health and safety considerations must be paramount to avoid unwieldy tall loads from possibly falling over. Take into consideration how customers will reach for and take away products from your display.
